Production Process
Production Process
From concept to completion, every WS&BCo. sculpture follows a material-specific process combining design, skilled craftsmanship, fabrication, finishing, inspection, and delivery preparation.
Stainless Steel Sculptures
Design & 3D Development
Define form, dimensions, installation needs, internal structure, and finish.
Material Selection
Select stainless grade and thickness based on strength, environment, and finish requirements.
Cutting & Forming
Cut, bend, roll, press, or form the steel into the required components.
Welding & Assembly
Join panels and internal supports to create the finished structural form.
Grinding & Surface Finish
Refine seams, polish or brush surfaces, and complete the specified finish.
Quality Inspection
Review dimensions, stability, weld quality, finish consistency, and workmanship.
Marble Sculptures
Design Planning
Establish subject, scale, proportions, details, and installation requirements.
Stone Selection
Choose marble according to color, veining, block size, quality, and carving suitability.
Block Preparation
Cut and orient the stone to suit the approved design.
Rough Carving
Remove major material and establish the primary silhouette and mass.
Detail Carving & Polishing
Refine facial, figurative, architectural, or decorative details and finish the surface.
Sealing & Final Check
Clean, inspect, and apply suitable protective treatment when required.
Fiberglass Sculptures
Design & Master Model
Create the master form by hand, digitally, or with a hybrid modeling process.
Mold Making
Create production molds that reproduce the approved model accurately.
Fiberglass Layup
Apply resin and reinforcement in controlled layers for strength and stability.
Curing & Demolding
Allow the composite to cure before carefully releasing it from the molds.
Sanding & Assembly
Trim excess material, assemble sections, and refine the surface.
Painting & Final Inspection
Apply the approved finish and inspect color, surface quality, and assembly.
Bronze Sculptures
Design & Sculpted Model
Create and approve the original sculptural model and proportions.
Mold Preparation
Produce molds and casting patterns from the approved model.
Bronze Casting
Melt and pour bronze into the prepared casting system.
Cooling & Demolding
Allow the bronze to solidify before removing casting material.
Welding & Chasing
Join sections and hand-refine seams, texture, and fine details.
Patina & Final Inspection
Apply the specified patina or finish, then inspect the completed work.
Final Review & Delivery
Finished work is inspected against the approved specifications, professionally packed, and prepared for shipment. Project photographs or final-review documentation may be provided before release where applicable.
