Frequently Asked Questions

Ordering & Made-to-Order Products

Are your products kept in stock?
No. WORLD STONE & BRONZE CO. products are custom made to order. Our catalog represents designs, materials, and project capabilities rather than a warehouse of finished pieces waiting for shipment.

Why are products made to order?
Made-to-order production allows the final piece to be reviewed around size, material, finish, base, application, site conditions, and project requirements. It also allows many designs to be adapted for residential, commercial, hospitality, memorial, religious, and public-space projects.

Can I order the product exactly as shown?
When the displayed configuration is available, you can request that version. Final availability, material, dimensions, finish, price, production time, freight, and installation requirements are confirmed in the written quotation or order documents.

Customization

Can I change the size?
Yes, many pieces can be reviewed for custom dimensions. A change in size may require changes to thickness, reinforcement, base proportions, mounting, engineering, crating, freight, or installation equipment.

Can I request a different material or finish?
Often, yes. Depending on the design, we may be able to review alternate marble or stone selections, bronze patinas, stainless-steel finishes, fiberglass finishes, colors, bases, inscriptions, or other project-specific treatments.

Can you create a sculpture from my photograph, sketch, or drawing?
We can review customer-supplied references when the customer owns the design or has authorization to use it. Photographs, plans, sketches, CAD drawings, architectural drawings, dimensions, and inspiration images may be submitted for feasibility review.

Can you replicate another artist’s or company’s design?
Only when the customer has sufficient authorization. WORLD STONE & BRONZE CO. may request evidence of ownership or permission and may decline a replication request when intellectual-property rights are unclear.

Pricing & Deposits

How is pricing determined?
Pricing can depend on size, material, design complexity, finish, quantity, base or pedestal requirements, structural needs, electrical or plumbing components, crating, freight, duties, taxes, installation, site access, and delivery location.

Is the website price always the final price?
No. Website pricing, where displayed, may represent a standard configuration or reference price. Custom dimensions, materials, finishes, bases, engineering, freight, installation, expedited production, and other project requirements may change the final quoted amount.

Is a deposit required?
Yes. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required for all orders unless different written terms are expressly approved for a particular project.

Why is the deposit non-refundable?
The deposit reserves production capacity and may initiate design work, material procurement, molds, drawings, engineering, carving, casting, fabrication, or other order-specific activity.

Production & Approval

When does production begin?
Production begins after the required deposit is received and all applicable specifications have been approved. Depending on the project, that may include drawings, dimensions, material, finish, inscriptions, base design, mounting details, electrical or plumbing information, and installation requirements.

How long does production take?
Lead time varies by product, material, scale, complexity, quantity, approvals, and production schedule. The applicable estimate is provided in the written quote or order documents when available.

Will I approve drawings before fabrication?
For projects that require drawings, renderings, models, or technical specifications, fabrication proceeds after the required approvals are completed.

Can I make changes after approving the design?
Possibly, but changes after approval may affect price and schedule. If material has been purchased or production has begun, some changes may no longer be practical or may require additional charges.

Will I see the finished product before shipment?
Finished-product photographs or other review documentation may be provided when applicable. The exact review process depends on the product and written order terms.

Materials & Natural Variation

Will natural stone match the photographs exactly?
Not necessarily. Marble, limestone, granite, travertine, and other natural stone can vary in veining, shade, mineral markings, texture, and pattern. These natural differences are part of the material and are not automatically defects.

Does bronze change color outdoors?
Bronze patinas can evolve with weather, moisture, pollutants, salt exposure, handling, and maintenance. This natural aging can be part of the intended character of bronze.

Are outdoor materials maintenance-free?
No material should be assumed to be maintenance-free. Cleaning, waxing, sealing, water treatment, winterization, inspection, or other care may be appropriate depending on material and environment.

Fountains & Water Features

Are pumps included?
Pump, lighting, electrical, plumbing, reservoir, drainage, control, and filtration requirements vary by fountain. Components are included only when specified in the product or written quote.

Do fountains require professional installation?
Many do. Large fountains may require foundations, plumbing, electrical work, pumps, crane or forklift access, waterproofing, drainage, leveling, or local code compliance. Licensed professionals should be used where required.

Do fountains need winterization?
In freezing climates, water features may require draining, pump removal, line protection, covering, or other winterization. The exact procedure depends on the system and site conditions.

Shipping & Delivery

Do you ship throughout the United States?
Domestic shipping can be reviewed based on the size, weight, destination, and available freight service.

Do you ship internationally?
International shipping may be available for qualifying projects. Customs, duties, taxes, port handling, destination delivery, and import requirements are evaluated separately.

Is shipping included?
Not unless expressly stated in the written quotation or order terms. Crating, freight, duties, taxes, delivery equipment, site access, and installation may be separate project costs.

What happens if my shipment arrives damaged?
Inspect the shipment promptly. Photograph visible damage to packaging and product before moving or discarding materials when practical. Record damage with the carrier where appropriate and contact us immediately with photographs and delivery documentation.

Installation

Do all products require installation?
No. Small decorative products may simply require safe placement. Large sculptures, fountains, fireplaces, columns, memorials, architectural features, and public art may require foundations, anchors, cranes, forklifts, rigging, utilities, or licensed trades.

Can you help plan installation?
Installation coordination may be available depending on the project and location. We may request drawings, site photographs, access dimensions, foundation details, equipment availability, utility information, or local contractor contact information.

Returns, Warranty & Support

Can custom-made products be returned?
Custom-made products generally cannot be returned simply because preferences change after fabrication. Any return or cancellation rights are governed by the Return & Refund Policy and the written order terms.

Do products include a warranty?
Warranty coverage is product- and project-specific. Any applicable warranty period, scope, exclusions, or remedy will be stated in the applicable written warranty or order documents.

What documentation should I keep?
Keep your quote, invoice, order confirmation, approved drawings, specifications, photographs, shipping records, installation information, and any warranty documents.
